The press office is a tool inside the communications office that takes place for the organisations to become part of the activities at the communications field. The press office main job is to treat and manage the relationships between a person, entity, company or public agency and the press. The publicity uses paid spaces (adverts), in online media or print press, for a product, service or company.

Press office is a way to conquer editorial opening (articles, notes in columns, etc), at the same media means, with notorious and non-commercial appeal. The press office works for what can be an individual client or institution such as companies, individuals as “public personalities”, doctors, lawyers, musicians and organisations.
